I scored the highest on physical learning styles which was what I expected. I learn more thoroughly and efficiently through a hands on approach, therefore I found this inventory to be extremely accurate. Overall, I would agree with the results of the inventory.

The Learning Style Inventory results are described in the following. My highest scores were in aural, social, logical, and physical. Aural is the auditory-musical-rhythmic style. Some pursuits that use the aural style are playing, conducting, or composing music. Social personalities include counseling, teaching, training and coaching, sales, politics, human resources, and others. People with a strong logical style are likely to follow such pursuits as the sciences, mathematics, accounting, detective work, law, and computer programming. The physical personality indicates that you use your body and sense of touch to learn about the world around me. I agree with the results for the most part. I believe this also shows I have chosen the right career for myself.

I scored a 16 on social learning styles and I was not surprised at all. I am a very social person, so I found this inventory to be most accurate. I totally agree witht the results of this inventory. It was fun to discover these attributes about myself.

I mostly agree with my results because I am a very verbal person and I love to write so the verbal part is correct. I love social situations so that is correct. I do not enjoy working in groups so that part is what I do not agree with I never played sports and according to this I enjoy playing sports to interact with others which is not true. The other test I took was completely correct though.

Assignment 3
I started with the Myers-Briggs test. It was a test to determine my personality traits. After answering the four questions, my results revealed ESFP, which meant extraverted, sensing, feeling, and perceiving. According to the results, my personality is one that is “pragmatic and realistic with a zest for living life to the fullest by way of multiplying experiences.” It also describes how people who are sensing are very attune to their environment. They always enjoy having a good time, and will not allow for things to become too quiet. The feeling traits include team players and project leaders. They have a gift for rallying their team members as well. They believe in harmony, and focus on others. They know people from all walks of life. They try to find ways to correct things, in doing so they look for the most gracious way no matter how uncomfortable the situation could be.
I couldn’t agree with these results more. It was almost creepy reading the results because each one described me perfectly. It was also weird being that exact based only on a series of 4 question. The test is completely accurate. I am the person who knows people from everywhere, and every aspect of life. I always try to keep harmony in my life and in my relationships with others. And I absolutely can’t stand for things to get dull and quiet. I will always do whatever it takes to liven things up.

I don't agree with social being the learning style I use the most. I hate group work and prefer online classes to attending class. I tend to view others as incompetent and get annoyed when people ask questions in class and hold everyone up. I like to do things my way and at my own pace (quickly) when it comes to learning. I learn best through memorization, logical thinking, and visualization.
Assignment 3
Learning Styles Test:
This test stresses that I am a social, aural, and physical person. I do agree with this portion of the test. I love socializing when it is appropriate and I work out often. What I do not agree with is that the test said my weakness was logic. I consider myself logical as well as verbal. This test gave somewhat similar results in which it called out the feelings and perception of what I most portray.

Assignment 1b
My name is Tim Button, I am a senior majoring in Healthcare Management. Technology is an essential part of education. Entering a new job, whatever job that may be I must be able to knowingly be educated in certain technologies. Not learning or not being able to learn new technology, I would be a huge step behind my competition. In education I would have the ability to be more organized and technical, therefore be able to portray my excellence in technology to others.

Above are the results from my learning style test. I certainly agree with the fact that I scored the strongest in the logical style. I enjoy mathematics and quantitative reasoning as well as devising strategies and working through simulations. However, I have no use for computer/video games as the description says I should.
I was surprised that I scored lowest on the visual style because I have good spacial recognition and enjoy studying maps.
Assignment 3
Dependable, reliable and trustworthy, they like to belong to solid organisations that are reasonable in their ambitions and loyal to their employees. They feel useful when their roles and responsibilities are clearly established and they can monitor their activities and productivity in tangible ways. They tend to be rather modest, traditional and conventional, to like sensible clothing, to be thrifty, careful and wise with both money and possessions.
Once they accept a project, they will see it to the end. They manage their time well and are realistic about how much time and resources will be needed.
They tend to like to stay in one neighbourhood, often choosing to live close to where they were themselves raised. They are often involved with volunteer organisations and have a developed sense of citizenship and accountability. When they purchase something, it is after careful consideration; rarely will they buy something without having a known need or use for it. They may keep possessions for a lifetime and treasure those that were given to them.
They tend to have a good memory for specific facts that are necessary in their day-to-day life at work and at home. They accumulate facts and details to orient themselves, relying on repeated experiences that have been proven trustworthy. A fact once experienced may be the product of circumstance and happenstance; it is not in and of itself reliable. When an introverted sensing type hears an idea, they rummage through reams of archived facts to find an experience that provides information for the relevance and realism of an idea. When an introverted sensing type utters, "It's never been done!" they are saying that no information about the relevance or usefulness of the idea is available to them. They tend to shy away from surprises and what is perceived as unnecessary change.
I think that my results for this test were very accurate. I am an introverted person but I like to be in charge of things. I also like to use past experiences to help to determine the probable outcome of a situation. I do not always manage my time well, but I am realistic about how much time and resources I need to put into something.

Assignment 1b
Assignment 3
My Myers-Briggs personality type test resulted in the four personality type letter of I, S, F, and P. The text concluded I was an introvert that understood by sensing, made choices by feeling, and perceived the outside world. I think I am an introvert for the most part but I do tend to act out first and then think about what I have done. However, I find as I get older I tend to think first before acting. I also completely agree with the sensing over intuitive category as I tend to use common sense to fix problems that are in the present era, but I do think sometimes on how to fix future problems before they even occur. Thinking critically on how to pre-emptively solve conflict is something I tend to do a lot of. I also like to know facts or details when I am 100% sure of them, if the information is not clear I will normally not attempt to answer a question or offer input to a conversation. I am not sure about the category that said I make choices based on feelings. I do tend to think of others thoughts and feelings when making decision but sometimes that is not always the case. The test said “disharmony was toxic” to me but I can handle conflict very well and often act as a mediator. The last category on how I perceive the outside world by perceiving instead of judging was something I was really not sure of, I do tend to move without a plan and make plans up as I go along, but I also like to have some sort of general plan in the back of my mind at all times. I feel I am very flexible to my environment and can adapt quickly to cope with it even though it may be against my wishes
http://www.learning-styles-online.com/inventory/results.asp
The results for the learning styles test was harder to evaluate as it did not give an explanation for each style as the personality type test did. My styles scores were a 5 for visual, 11 social, 5 physical, 16 aural, 10 verbal, 12 solitary, and 5 logical. I knew my aural would be very high as I am prone to learning and listening to all auditory sounds. I use listening to help me because my eye-sight is not very good. This is proven as I got a 5 for visual. I did not agree with 11 for social because I got a 12 for solitary. However the more I think about it I am about the same as far as interaction with others and spending time on my own. I have a high verbal score of 10 which I believe is a result of constant history and English classes so I do agree with that.Personality Results

I think that the results defined me very well. I agree with them because everything they said(beside one thing) was true. It weird how an internet test can tell explain how you are by answering 4 questions.

These examples are definitely helpful in creating some new ideas for students and their parents. It would be easy to get any information i needed to a parent, especially in Special Education when so much parental help is needed.

Mrs. Myrmel's classroom blog was directed at informing the student's parents on what their children are doing each day. I really like this approach to use blogging in education because it allows parents to become involved in their children's studies with the click of a mouse.
The Everts' Times blog was interesting because it allows parents/educators to view the students' thoughts on their schoolwork and activities. This is a great use of a blog to allow students' to express themselves and perhaps find out what is and isn't working in classroom strategies.
The Clem 2005 blog was much like the Everts' Times blog, in that it allowed students
to voice their opinions or ideas on a subject that could be viewed by everyone.
To be honest. Mrs. Huff's English class blog was a bit confusing to locate all the material and what it meant because of the page layout. But it included outside sources and information students could use in their reports or work that could help them and also posted weekly reminders of the classes' agenda so it was easy for the students to keep up with what was going on.
Ideas I would use from these blogs would include letting parents access the blog to see what the class was currently working on and also letting students communicate and express their own ideas and opinions on a subject because I would like to know how well my students are understanding the material and generally how they feel about it.

Theses examples show a variety of ways I can incorporate blogging in my classroom. I think it would be nice to have two different blogs though. One that I could use specifically with my students- assignments, communication. The other I could use with parents as well as other faculty, a way for parents to keep up with what exactly is going on the classroom and future events. I feel like it is important to have a line between the classroom and the house.

My name is Anna Wood. My major is Special Education and I am getting it for K-12. I am very excited because I love working for kids and knowing that I can help their life! Technology is pretty cool. I think that technology has changed things for the better. Now since most everyone knows how to use a computer it makes commucation easier. Although it has made things more high-tech and hard to learn how to use it has proven to have more pros than cons too me. I believe that using technology in a classroom will be more useful for the students. I know for me going to school to be a teacher I plan on using. I can it helping the students understand certain better because they can also login to a site they went over in class that day and view examples to help them when they are outside of the classroom. I also think that the technology world is still growing and I cannot wait to see what they have in store for the future!

My name is Payton Barnes. I am a junior majoring in Elementary Education.
I think technology is fascinating. It has improved our society tremendously, and I think it's going to keep improving in the future. I'm actually pretty bad with new technology and being able to use it correctly. I finally got an IPOD touch about two months ago, and I am still trying to figure everything out. It's bad.
For teachers, I think the use of technology will be very useful. It provides a quick way for communication. It also provides a way to enhance the classroom learning through interactive websites and blogging. However, I think that technology can be enforced too much and it can take away from actual teaching lectures. If students use technology for everything and rely on computers for notes and what not, what is the point of me being a teacher?
Assignment 1b
My name is Venus. I am a Sophomore majoring in Special Education. I think that by using technology in the classroom it makes lessons more enjoyable for students. Not only does it make the classroom setting fun, but it also makes it easier to access materials for activities, quizzes, and homework.
