Each teacher used the blog differently. It seemed like it was based on preference. One teacher, pretty much the students in control of the whole blog. They were writing about their day, as like a journal entry. Other teachers used it as a message board to let students, other teachers, parents, know what their students were doing in class, even how they were performing. Another teacher used it as a way to give assignments, and for students to communicate.
Theses examples show a variety of ways I can incorporate blogging in my classroom. I think it would be nice to have two different blogs though. One that I could use specifically with my students- assignments, communication. The other I could use with parents as well as other faculty, a way for parents to keep up with what exactly is going on the classroom and future events. I feel like it is important to have a line between the classroom and the house.
