I found a game on the BBC website called "Gladiator: Dressed to Kill". You test your knowledge of Roman gladiator clothing and weapons by outfitting particular gladiators and then sending them to fight in the Colosseum. The success of your gladiator is determined by how accurately you have outfitted the warrior according to historical descriptions. The site does offer good comparisons between the various styles of gladiators, however the game itself is not very entertaining.
